Led by proud Howard University alumni, we create the ultimate one-stop experience for Alumni & Friends during Homecoming. Since 2006, our iconic events have welcomed thousands of Black professionals from around the globe. Howard Homecoming draws over 100,000 guests each year, celebrating a century-old tradition with unforgettable moments like the Blaque Mecca Block Party, HU Bar Crawl, Karaoke Brunch, and the Homecoming Game.

Oct 25: Southloop Halloween Crawl

Get ready for a night of thrills, chills, and unforgettable memories! Enjoy $5 drinks and $10 shots at select venues while showing off your sexiest or scariest costumes. This is one of the most anticipated bar crawls of the year, and the official bar route will be revealed 48 hours before the event. Costumes are required, and a grand prize awaits the best-dressed participant! You must be 21 or older to attend.

MOVEMAKERS was founded in 2006 by six classmates from Howard University who shared a vision of creating premier events for young professionals in cities around the world. Today, through strategic partnerships with globally recognized brands, MOVEMAKERS has established a strong presence in both Chicago and Washington, DC. Signature events include the HU Bar Crawl (the largest Black bar crawl in the world), Blaque Mecca Block Party, Chicago Culture Ball, Rhythm and Beats, and more.
